Bonya Gazza & DeGory, LLP is an Indiana County law firm that provides a wide array of general legal services to both businesses and individuals. Services include business, real estate, and energy and natural resources.
The Challenge
One of BGD’s primary goals was to develop a website that is consistent with and communicates the quality of their services that they provide their community everyday. Throughout Indiana County, BDG wanted to increase leads from business owners, professionals, and out-of-area counsel seeking legal services. The new website needed to emphasize their skilled attorneys, small-town values, and exceptional client service.
The Solution
We focused on a polished, professional design while the content tone is friendly and knowledgeable like an “expert neighbor”. As the key target demographic in Indiana County ages, BGD knows they will have to appeal to a younger set of entrepreneurs and professionals, so the website needed to be fast, straight-forward, and visually appealing. Content includes direct explanations of practice areas and attorneys for the website visitors who need quick answers. For those looking to dive deeper, the BGD site includes interesting contextual content including details on their historical office.
Logo Design
BGD wanted to integrate their office into the logo mark since the rich history provides the foundation through which the firm serves their community. Our designer got to work designing a mark that incorporates the exterior of 134 South Sixth Street, a historic Victorian house in Indiana built by John W Sutton. The second empire style building is complete with grand bay windows, and we integrated many of the charismatic details into the logo. The challenge was to artfully minimize the detail of the original façade to work as a logo mark that could scale smaller without losing focus.
Website Design
Bonya Gazza & DeGory, LLP had strong professional imagery of their attorneys as well as their office, so our designers focused on showcasing these existing assets on the new website. Blue can be a common choice for many law firm websites and other professional services, so we wanted to change up the color scheme to help differentiate BGD from other local competitors. We experimented with less traditional blue shades and ultimately paired the chosen blue with a warmer gold.
Conclusion
BGD now has a professional, modern website to help engage a younger prospective client base in Indiana County, PA. With a functional, user-friendly CMS, the team at BGD can make image and text updates in real-time. Our Blue Archer team looks forward to supporting the BGD website ongoing.
