The website needed to reinforce CR3ís process-oriented, technology-supported, results-driven approach, and its strong track record of success. When CR3 came to Blue Archer, their existing site was informational but lacked the ability to effectively market and sell their services. Content was outdated and included business jargon that could be off-putting for prospective clients. Our team needed to streamline the content, create an intuitive information architecture, and build functional modules that would enable the CR3 team to efficiently manage the site over time.
Alongside our traditional strategy which outlines value proposition, audience, positioning, project goals, and more, we also conducted a brand messaging session to define the marketing direction.
To help contextualize service and industry page content, the site needed the support of applicable resources and case studies. Therefore, our team build database-driven modules with variable dictionaries to allow CR3 to import related case studies, resources, and team members for internal pages.
We began with a comprehensive strategy phase that focused on analyzing site users, defining project goals and objectives, crafting new brand messages, and building a user-friendly sitemap. Prior to moving forward with design, we created prototypes for key pages on the site. This step not only helps to define content needs early on in the project process, but also ensures there is an intuitive user journey throughout the core website pages.
A full screen rotating image section greets users on the homepage, giving the site a modern and minimalist look. The CR3 team wanted the homepage to convey an experienced, corporate and analytical feel so we combined strategic iconography with bold photography. We extended this balanced feel through the internal pages on the site by including background banner images. Custom designed pages for the services and industry content give CR3 the opportunity to highlight contextual case studies and insights.
Blue Archer programmers built supportive custom functionality that serves CR3ís unique user base. A comprehensive insights module enables users to browse resources and filter by industry, service, or keyword. The case studies section of the site gives CR3 the opportunity to showcase their work by detailing past successful client profiles. For website users interested in learning more about the team of professionals at CR3, we built a staff database that is filterable by division and keyword. Each team member includes a professional head-shot, contact information, LinkedIn profile, downloadable Vcard, and a detailed biography.
Since the website launch in Spring 2022, Blue Archer has continued to support the CR3 team through marketing initiatives including SEO. We look forward to continuing to work with CR3 on website iterations and improvements over time so that the site can grow alongside the brand.
