A tragedy occured at the 2014 SXSW. Two people were killed and another 23 injured, five critically, after a motorist drove into a street full of people. The driver was Rashad Charjuan Owens and may be facing two counts of murder.

The NSA tried to be sneaky about their surveillance activities by posing as Facebook users. The initiative was called "Owning the Net" and affected 85,000 to 100,000 computers around the world.
