The Hottest Gadget Worth Investing In 

      This morning is an exciting morning for billionaire Nicholas Woodman, the founder of GoPro, whose company just began trading on public markets this morning.  The company that began in 2002 is currently valued at $3.86 with shares that started at $24, now shot up to $31.34.  A gadget company by nature, Woodman has successfully portrayed it as a media company to investors.  In the age of social media, he couldn't have timed it any better.

The Social Life of Google

      Google+ is not giving up on it's social identity.  Larry Page, Google CEO, is doing his best to talk up the traditionally sought out platform as having great social potential.  Page insists that the service has been growing tremendously, and that social has never been more important to Google.  With a dedicated community, Google+ is determined to work for the people.

Our Government, The Social User

      Government agencies are working on adapting to the social sector, a sign that the productivity of enterprise social networking has worked its way into business, and ultimately, into a lifestyle.  More specifically, government agencies are benefiting on open-source software, such as open-source email, due to the fact that it can be modified to meet their specific security needs, like location-based privacy and compliance concerns.

Amazon Music, Groovy! 

      Amazon launched Prime Music, it's new music streaming service, just over a week ago, and it has consumers dazzled.  Quite a few Prim subscribers have taken advantage of the free music streaming service, and have already streamed tens of millions of songs.  Users have exceeded Amazon's expectations, and Amazon feels quite confident that their new music niche could catch fire.

Cell Phone Search's Now Need a Warrant 

      As of Wednesday, June 25, police now need a warrant to search a cell phone's content of people under custody.  This ruling also applies to people who are stopped for questioning.  Searches without warrants invade privacy well beyond the acceptable extent.  Digital privacy is seen as fundamentally different in quality and quantity as a brief physical search.

It is truly remarkable to be living in the age of a revolution.  Technology has changed the way we live, and there are no if, ands or buts about it, everyone is adapting, even our government.  It will definitely be worth noting to watch tech products, such as GoPro, in the investment sector.  Will technology be the new solid investment?  Let's watch and see.  With the morphing of business, technology and social media, it will surely be worthwhile to observe the effects in society as a whole.  One of the biggest questions America faces is: How do we tackle growing inequality?  Could the tech revolution be opening the doors to this question? Could the social impact of the tech revolution be the first step in resolving the defining challenge of our time?
