This week's review takes on a political angle looking at some insight from President Barack Obama's State of the Union address, and how IT companies will be affected, legislation on net neutrality, and a brief summary on the "the internet of things," from one of my favorite online news source, Bloomberg TV. 

The Patriots and the Seahawks will be battling it out at this year's Super Bowl XLIX. What we need to cover this week is pretty obvious with the Superbowl only being 10 days away. Social Media has been gearing up, sneak peaks of ads have been released, and we are going to share a few tips for those without a million dollar budget. 

This week's review looks into the U.S. and U.K.'s efforts to combat cyber-attacks, technolgy companies are making efforts to increase diversity but without recognizing the King's holiday, and cable companies are converting their packages to become more tech. savy and mobile friendly (the days of cable and satellite TV are numbered!). 

We love social media, but it is not just about viral videos and sharing photos of the office. Lead generation seems to be the newest buzz word, and we are beginning to find out why. Social media may help you reach higher quality leads that stick around.
