One habit that I have found myself falling into is circulating through the same handful of blogs in search for content inspiration.  Besides the fact that I keep a bookmarks folder of these blogs, they are actually all quite adequate in their purpose to propose worthy content.  I decided to pursue the web in hopes of finding the one-and-only blog that is just waiting to take me away… And I did, kind of.  I did not necessarily find Mr. Blog Charming, instead I found one even better.

After searching through the top 20 marketing blogs webpage, I found one titled “Logic + Emotion”.  Being the person that I am, I was immediately inclined to know more about the blog.  The blog is David Armano’s personal blog.  He is a Managing Director for the social-digital practice at Edelman Digital Chicago. Widely known as a digital veteran, he leads one of the most talented teams of social strategists, community managers, technologists, and creative minds in the industry.

One portion I would like to share (which is evidence as to why I love this blog so much): The major forces in this evolution are largely a combination of hardware and software (mobile) combined with connectivity (social) all accelerated in the context of time which gives the impression of immediacy (real-time).  This statement is presented with such logical sway that it basically sums up an entire era.  By starting his post off with this kind of intriguing theory, the reader has already been enticed to read the rest. The rest of the blog post goes into creating a simple formula for content format.

With a blog like David’s, that has a clever mixture of factual and informational posts along with more cultural and societal posts, he offers the perfect sanctuary for anyone who seeks content that truly emulates what Logic + Emotion looks like in words.
