3 Steps to Grow Your Business’s Instagram Following

Social media is becoming the number one marketing platform for businesses all over the world. It’s the easiest way to reach people of all markets and to find ways to integrate into new markets. Without proper verification from Instagram or having a decent following, your business may not look reputable to many Instagram users. Building your followers will aid in user engagement and new user interaction.

You can start by building your Instagram followers by engaging them with interactive pictures that market your website, blog, or even your latest projects.

Your reputation on Instagram is fully dependent on user engagement with your page. The number of followers and comments you receive tells the media world how much you mean in comparison to other accounts. 

Here are some steps to take to help grow your following:

Think of your Instagram page as your elevator speech for those who have no idea who you are. What does the page tell new users?

3. Maximize Instagram’s Features

Use the discovery page to your advantage. There are many ways to be placed on the discovery page by simply gaining a lot of likes or comments. This is how people “discover” other accounts. 

Utilize features such as Geotagging, people tagging, hashtagging, live streaming, and Instagram stories. 

Hashtagging is very important when it comes to being discovered. However, avoid hashtag abuse because this will overwhelm and ultimately annoy your users which will decrease exposure on future posts. 

Lastly, make sure you are sharing quality content. This greatly affects the perception of your brand.
